Members, please give a warm welcome to Jeannette Garcia, who was elected vice president in our special election.
Jeannette is no stranger to the SAAHJ board. She has served in numerous roles over the last few years. Most recently, she was our secretary. Jeannette covers technology, military and defense industry and economic development for the San Antonio Business Journal, and previously was a public relations professional for 10 years, having received the Public Relations Society of America — San Antonio’s rising star award in 2014. Jeannette is a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, and is the president-elect for the local chapter of the Texas Exes, the university’s alumni arm.
