Austin Martinez (she/her/ella) is an associate engagement editor at LinkedIn. Her experience includes reporting on Texas politics, relaunching the Los Angeles Times’ TikTok account, hosting a university-sponsored podcast and working on nonprofit communications for the American GI Forum National Veterans Outreach Program.
A proud San Antonian and valedictorian of Fox Technical High School, she studied journalism and Latino media studies at The University of Texas at Austin, where she founded a Latinx/Hispanic publication. Martinez is a former recipient of SAAHJ’s Shea Serrano Scholarship.
